Kerry Parkins Disease, I haz it.

So why am I calling it Kerry Parkins disease? While Kerry is a really cool person, and I respect the hell out of her, she brought a good point on Twitter. After tweeting that she can no long spell the word mixx, with just one x, I find that I am not alone. Even as I write this my spell checker in Firefox is having a damn fit.
Kerry is a product manager for the website Mixx.com. I am a very active user on this site and find myself hanging out there all the time. So I named the disease after her, because, well, she freaking called it. Think of it as kind of “He who smelt it, dealt it” type of thing.
The other day my boss called me about a report I had submitted, basically every time I spelled mixx, it had two X’s. I said “Yeah so.” He changed it.
So I ask you. Does anyone else occasionally find themselves suffering from Parkins disease? I am sure the guys at the Mixx.com offices know exactly what I am talking about. Love ya Kerry, but again, you freaking called it.
